Catherine brings extensive administrative and financial expertise to Mission Garden, drawing from 15 years of government service and international experience. With a background in financial management and policy advising, she oversees operational aspects that keep our garden thriving.

Originally from the Netherlands and now a Tucson resident, Catherine's cross-cultural perspective enriches our community outreach efforts. Her experience overseeing projects for UNESCO-protected sites in Amsterdam gives her unique insight into preserving historically significant spaces like Mission Garden.

Catherine is passionate about community development, having previously worked with NGOs in India and managed microcredit projects that supported sustainable water installations. Her volunteer background with cultural spaces demonstrates her commitment to community-centered programs.

When not at Mission Garden, Catherine enjoys exploring Tucson's desert landscapes and connecting her international experience with the rich cultural heritage of the Southwest.
